OnBoard's embedded systems includes the Tornado6DOF™, and Tornado16CR™. The Tornado6DOF™ records acceleration data in 6 degrees of freedom (6-DOF) during an ejection event in a flight aircraft. Tornado6CR™ records triaxial acceleration data using an internal accelerometer package and also has the capability of recording signals from 16 external sensors. SPEC's OnBoard Systems Nanosatellite Sensor Suite (NSS) combines MEMs, GPS, and imaging sensors into a hardened compact, low power, single module that supplies attitude and position data for navigation and control of small platforms and payloads. |
